Former President Donald Trump has reportedly filed a massive defamation lawsuit against CNN and seeks $475 million in punitive damages.

For the 6:00 AM to noon Eastern period, Fox News was, by far, tops on cable with 1.97 million total viewers including 298,000 within the key 25-54 demographic. CNN's morning ratings received a hefty boost from its normal levels, averaging 1.52 million viewers.

"You know what I hear today on MSNBC and CNN? I hear the sound of crickets talking about the fundraiser last night during the devastation in Florida," Carr said.

Van Susteren later tweeted "it is very difficult, financially and self esteem, to be laid off. And in my opinion it is mostly because the managers didn't manage the company well."

As noted in the network total day averages below, Fox News, CNN, and MSNBC each drew above average from their regular daytime programming.

"They're afraid to fire him so they just stuck him on this morning show with 12 other people."

This is just the latest in several moves made by new CNN President and CEO Chris Licht.
