Cumulus Media announced today that the Bleav Network, a sports and entertainment production company with a specialty in producing original, localized content, will be joining the Cumulus Podcast Network.
The former Secret Service and NYPD officer added he has one-and-a-half years left on his contract, saying "I'm going to enjoy and savor every minute of it."
The results are promising for podcast advertisers with the results showing podcast listeners are more attentive to advertisements than linear television viewers.
"The experiment of a paid subscription didn't work. Do I think we're going there at some point in the future? Maybe five years, maybe 10 years? I agree with that, but we were early."
