The year-long “Opry 100” celebration is set to honor the individuals and music that have solidified the Opry as a hallowed institution in the Country music genre since its inception on WSM Radio in 1925.
The Grand Ole Opry is preparing for its 99th birthday bash, which will include three evenings of Opry performances and special daytime and evening events from October 10 to 13.
Four inductees, recognized for their efforts to preserve Nashville's musical legacy, will be honored with the 105th, 106th, 107th, and 108th stars on the Music City Walk of Fame.
