YES averaged 368,000 total viewers for its Yankees games in the New York DMA, a 27% year-over-year increase (290,000).

Ben Cafardo of ESPN reported that the Yankees-Orioles game on Friday will be available on ESPN+.

The New York Post reports that the situation is "in flux". The game is scheduled to be on Amazon Prime Video as part of deal that gives the subscription service 21 Yankees broadcasts this season.

"'The bad news is I told George you might be interested in coming to work for the Yankees. And he told me to stay the f*** out of his business, build me a winner, you have nothing to do with broadcasts. The good news he wants to hire you.'"

YES Network peaked at 901,000 total viewers (8:45-9:00p ET) and averaging 708,000 total viewers on Tuesday night.

“We thought it would be really cool to take that to the next level and have them do an alternative-cast of the game," Matt Duarte, YES’ vice president of strategy and business development said.

“I’m not going to be selfish. When he does it, he does. It will be a bummer if YES is not covering it."
