A new podcast reveals Gary, Indiana rapper Freddie Gibbs calling out Joe Rogan for his use of the n-word. The podcast called “Kill Tony” was recorded last month at the Vulcan Gas Company in Austin, Texas.
A video released of Gibbs discussing the matter with Rogan in front of a large studio crowd strikes a somewhat playful tone between the two men.
“He (Rogan) said every n-word in Philly looked like a monkey. Joe, let me tell you something n-word. You’re lucky I got family out in Philadelphia because they were coming here to f–k you up man.”
Rogan countered, telling Gibbs, “It’s been years! … Let it go, let it go, let it go.”
“The world is changing, s–t, Joe Rogan said the n-word and s–t.”
In February, Rogan appeared at the same venue and spoke out about the n-word controversy that prompted Spotify artists to issue an ultimatum regarding his future.
“Somebody made a compilation of every time I said that word over 14 years, and they put it on YouTube, and it turned out that was racist as f–k Even to me!” Rogan said.
