Steve Czaban Gets Contract Extension At 97.3 The Game

Date:

Steve Czaban has a new contract in Milwaukee. iHeartMedia announced Thursday that it had agreed with the 97.3 The Game host on a new deal that will keep him in the station’s morning drive slot.

Czaban joined the station in 2019 shortly after it launched on the FM dial. He had a presence in the market long before that though, making regular appearances with Bob & Brian on 102.9 the Hog for years.

“What we are building at The Game is incredible to watch, and not just in Milwaukee, but across Wisconsin,” Steve Czaban said in a press release. “Sports talk radio that is entertaining, regardless of the season, and with a true Wisconsin flair. I’m looking forward to continuing to build upon our success in the market for years to come!”

There has been a lot of news coming out of 97.3 The Game in the last six months. The station announced in October that it will be the new home of the Green Bay Packers on Milwaukee radio starting this season. Earlier this week, Ted Davis told his listeners that he was leaving his role as co-host of Heller & Davis.

“Continuing to work every day with a true legend of the format is pretty cool,” 97.3 The Game PD Tim Scott added.  Add in our all-star line up alongside Czabe, and I’d say this is going to be a really fun ride.”
