On Thursday, President Joe Biden will address the nation from Philadelphia in a primetime event from Independence National Historic Park.
WMAL talk show host Vince Coglianese said on Wednesday the Biden administration is getting a generous donation from TV executives who choose to run the speech.
“The Biden White House has scheduled a primetime extravaganza where they are going to see if they can get Joe to read a teleprompter again. They haven’t succeeded yet but maybe this time will be the charm,” Coglianese said.
According to Fox News, Biden will use the opportunity to discuss America’s democracy which he claims is “under attack.”
“Joe will be standing in Philadelphia; he will be standing in Independence Hall, and he’ll trample all over the constitution,” remarked Coglianese.
Coglianese said that broadcast networks will hand over their airtime to the President of the United States which he referred to as “a giant in-kind contribution to the Democrats.”
“Now of course none of us will be surprised if they do that but understand the context in which it is happening,” he added.
Coglianese accused Biden of trying to “whip up support for the Democrats as we approach the midterms.”
