The “Carton Dummy” has become a popular gag on the social media channels of WFAN, but this morning Boomer & Gio couldn’t contain their criticism for the latest video.
In the video, WFAN executive producer Dov Kramer returns to the office after missing the last month due to a health issue. When asked if a “Welcome Back” banner is for him, he’s told no, it’s for the Carton Dummy, Kramer says “just wait until Boomer finds out about this”.
“The acting in this borderline criminal. Its so bad,” Gregg Giannotti said.
“That’s horrific,” Boomer Esiason said.
“I mean, I love Dov, I’m glad he’s healthy. I know he had a very scary couple of weeks, but that is porno acting. That’s what that is,” Giannotti added before impersonating the executive producer in an adult film situation.
“What are they doing? They have so much time on their hands, I guess,” Esiason quipped.
“Spike (Eskin), our program director, just tweeted out 87% of our social stuff is all Carton dummy stuff,” Giannotti said.
“Is it really?”, a dumbfounded Esiason asked.
“Basically, yeah,” Giannotti concluded.
WFAN Program Director Spike Eskin later tweeted this was the final appearance of the Carton Dummy.
