The NFL’s Pro Bowl will undergo many changes for the 2023 edition, and Peyton Manning-owned Omaha Productions will be behind the differences.
A flag-football game will replace the traditional Pro Bowl on Sunday, February 5th, but a week of skills competitions as well as non-football skills will be on display.
Omaha Productions will work directly with ESPN and the league for content and ideas to shape the week for players, fans, and corporate sponsors of the NFL.
“We’ve received invaluable feedback from players, teams and fans about reimagining the Pro Bowl, and as a result, we’re thrilled to use The Pro Bowl Games as a platform to spotlight Flag football as an integral part of the sport’s future while also introducing fun, new forms of competition and entertainment that will bring our players, their families and fans closer than ever before,” said NFL Executive Vice President, Club Business and League Events Peter O’Reilly.
