The New York Yankees, Amazon and YES Network are looking at the posibility of moving the Friday night Yankees-Orioles game from Amazon to YES Network.
The New York Post reports that the situation is “in flux”. The game is scheduled to be on Amazon Prime Video as part of deal that gives the subscription service 21 Yankees broadcasts this season. YES is partly owned by Amazon.
There remains the possibility that Amazon and YES could both broadcast the game. Amazon uses YES’ announcers which means Michael Kay would lead their regular broadcast team regardless of where the game gets broadcast.
