ESPN Radio has cemented its coverage plans for the upcoming World Series, which will be the network’s 25th consecutive as the exclusive radio play-by-play home.
Dan Shulman will call his 12th and final World Series for ESPN Radio. He will step aside from his duties and make way for Jon “Boog” Sciambi to take over as the network’s World Series voice. In total, Shulman has worked the MLB Postseason for ESPN Radio for 24 years.
Shulman will be joined in the booth by Eduardo Perez and Jessica Mendoza. ESPN MLB Reporter Buster Olney will serve as the broadcast’s reporter. Marly Rivera will also report on the World Series for ESPN Radio’s regular daily lineup.
Kevin Winter will serve as the studio host for the coverage. ESPN Radio‘s lead regular season analyst, Doug Glanville, will join Winter in the studio for each game of the series.
Game One of the 2022 World Series between the Houston Astros and Philadelphia Phillies is scheduled for Friday, October 28th with coverage beginning at 7:00 PM on ESPN Radio.
