An early morning appearance on The Greg Hill Show turned into a scary experience for former Patriots defensive back Ty Law Tuesday.
Law was in the middle of a sentence when audio cut out. Presumably, Law cursed as he saw and ran away from the coyote. The WEEI hosts could be heard saying “uh oh” and “you only got one more left” and “this is going viral”, before Law rejoined.
“Sorry! Hold on, hold on. Oh my goodness,” Law said. “Damn. Back at me, guys. I’m sorry. Told y’all I’m out here walking in the dark.”
“Did he get away?”, Courtney Cox asked.
“Yeah, oh yeah. I still got a bit on me,” Law responded. “I’m sorry CoCo I had to gather myself. I’m around the corner now.”
“Is the thing stalking you?,” Marconi Award winning host Greg Hill wondered.
“No. I’m telling you, they be out here. I don’t know if that was a wolfdog, Alaskan Malamute, or if it was a damn coyote,” Law said. “You all got me tripping on air right now. That one woke me up right there, guys. It’s 5:00 in the morning and I’m awake now.”
“I feel like you should seek shelter somewhere, Ty,” Hill responded.
“You know it’s bad when you’ve got a golf club in your hand and you’re still running,” Law concluded. “I ain’t gonna run up on him.”
Law was able to evade the coyote and complete the scheduled interview without further incident.
