Christian Arcand has found a home on Boston sports radio after his job at 98.5 The Sports Hub was eliminated last month. Merloni, Fauria, & Mego announced Arcand will join their show on WEEI as a producer Thursday.
Arcand spent five years at The Sports Hub, the majority of which spent co-hosting The Adam Jones Show, but had previously worked at WEEI as the host of the station’s late night timeslot.
“Most of you people in Boston know Christian,” Lou Merloni said. “He was over at The Sports Hub at night, doing an amazing job. He used to shows from 10:00 PM-2:00 AM here. He did an amazing job here before he moved on to The Sports Hub, and now he’s back.”
Arcand replaces former producer Tyler Devitte, who left the show in October.
“I’m very excited to get started. This is really exciting, I’m such a big fan of you guys, and it’s great to work with all three of you finally,” Arcand said.
He will begin his duties on Monday, November 14th. He will also host a show on Saturday afternoons from 1:00-4:00 PM.
