Ahmad Rashad is synonymous with the NBA, and the longtime host is joining the newly re-imagined NBA app for an interview series.
NBA Rewind with Ahmad Rashad will feature discussions with NBA players both past and present, with in-depth conversations about what made them succesful.
“NBA Rewind with Ahmad Rashad will provide an inside look at some of the NBA’s current greats along with legends themselves,” Rashad said in a statement. “Throughout the four decades that I have covered the league, I have learned that fans deeply appreciate my perspective on the game and the players, and NBA Rewind with Ahmad Rashad will provide it to them on the NBA App.”
The debut episode featured a conversation with Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry, with future discussions including sit downs with Shaquille O’Neal and Dominique Wilkins.
Rashad hosted NBA Inside Stuff on NBC for 16 years in the 1990s and early 2000s before the league’s television rights went to ESPN/ABC.
