The Big East Conference and FOX Sports have had a nice relationship over the last decade, and both sides are planning to continue the partnership in the future.
Big East commissioner Val Ackerman announced Wednesday at Madison Square Garden that the conference and the network will begin media rights renewal talks in the coming months.
The conference signed a 12-year, $500 million deal with FOX Sports in 2013.

FOX has elevated the Big East, which is predominantly a basketball conference, ith primetime men’s and women’s games on FS1 and marquee weekend slots on FOX. Clearly, the conference has enjoyed the success and exposure the network has provided in that span.
