The National Association of Broadcasters has named its 36th annual Crystal Radio Award winners, with 10 stations being bestowed the honor.
The NAB Crystal Radio Awards honors stations for their “year-round commitment to community service”.
Newsradio 620 WTMJ in Milwaukee was the only news/talk station honored with the award.
Additionally, KTAR in Phoenix was awarded the prestigious Crystal Heritage Award during the ceremony. The award is given to stations that have been honored with a Crystal Radio Award five or more times. Bonneville Phoenix Senior Vice President and Market Manager Ryan Hatch accepted the award on the station’s behalf.

50 stations in total were named finalists for the award, with news/talk stations like WTOP (Washington D.C.), KIRO (Seattle), KFI (Los Angeles), WSB (Atlanta), and WTAM (Cleveland) nominated.
