“Apparently…some really cool stuff can happen if you have an incredible crew around you and a belief in something,” McAfee wrote. “We love sports. We love bringing people together…that’s our business. We’re wildly lucky to be able to do what we do.”

McAfee then added that he believes “Our next move…will be an industry changer,” before saying the show “will never lose its soul”.

The future of The Pat McAfee Show has been the subject of much intrigue since a February social media post revealed he was considering stepping away from his massive sponsorship deal with FanDuel after saying they “don’t necessarily have the same philosophical views on stuff”.

McAfee has revealed that he will remain a member of the College GameDay crew in 2023, but has yet to announce further plans with the WWE.

Earlier this year, McAfee teased a “major announcement”, which was ultimately a new advertising partnership with Anheuser-Busch.
