Cromwell Media Inks Extension to Remain Middle Tennessee State Flagship

Middle Tennessee State University has reached an agreement with Cromwell Media on a renewal of media rights for MTSU football and men’s basketball through the 2026 seasons.

Games will be heard on 93.3 Classic Hits in Nashville, which will be picking up a frequency on 95.1 in Murfreesboro just in time for football season.

The partnership between the school and Cromwell Media spans the last 12 years.

“We are proud to continue our partnership with MTSU athletics and give their fans one destination to hear their football and men’s basketball games on local radio,” Cromwell Media general manager Shawn Fort said.

“I’m very excited about this major step forward for us and our friends at MTSU,” added Cromwell Media Director of Operations and Sports Programming Chase McCabe. “Our 12-year working relationship with Athletic Director Chris Massaro and his team is extremely important to us and we’re excited about ramping up the amount of support we can provide them.”

In addition to game broadcasts, programming like coach’s shows and daily Middle Tennessee sports updates will be featured on Cromwell’s two sports stations 102.5/106.3 The Game and 94.9 The Fan.
