NewsNation to Host Next 2024 Republican Presidential Debate

NewsNation has announced it will host the fourth 2024 Republican Presidential primary debate next month.

On Wednesday, December 6th, candidates will gather at the University of Alabama’s Frank Moody Music Building in Tuscaloosa for the fourth debate, which will be broadcast from 8-10 PM ET.

In addition to airing on the cable network, the event will also be aired nationally on The CW, with affiliates in the Mountain and Pacific time zones seeing an encore presentation in primetime. The debate will also be broadcast on SiriusXM Triumph channel 111.

The debate will be moderated by SiriusXM host Megyn Kelly, NewsNation’s Elizabeth Vargas, and The Washington Free Beacon’s Eliana Johnson. Kelly previously moderated a Presidential debate in 2016, which remains the most-watched debate on record.

“NewsNation’s mission is to provide fair and unbiased news coverage, and that’s the way we will approach this important debate,” said network President of News Michael Corn. “We take this responsibility very seriously and are proud to help inform and educate voters and to contribute to the democratic process.”

The move isn’t the first foray into the 2024 Republican Presidential race for the cable network. It has previously hosted town hall events with candidates Mike Pence and Vivek Ramaswamy.
