Morning drive on 680 The Fan in Atlanta will be without one of its familiar voices moving forward starting next week. Co-host Hutson Mason announced that this would be his last week working on The Locker Room with Joe Hamilton, Brandon Leak, John Michaels, and Brian Finneran.
Mason had been with the show since July 2021. In a post on X confirming the news, he revealed that he will soon be starting a new job on the corporate side with fast-food giant Chick-fil-A.
Before joining 680 The Fan, Mason was a four-year quarterback at the University of Georgia backing up Aaron Murray and starting during the 2014 season. He had a stint in the professional ranks with the then-Washington Redskins, as well as the Saskatchewan Rough Riders and Calgary Stampeders of the CFL.
