107.5 The Fan Remains Strong in Indianapolis Fall Ratings Book

With football the focus of its content strategy during the fall months, 107.5 The Fan finished its first full Nielsen ratings book under a new weekday programming lineup. Despite making changes, the station was able to build on its momentum from the prior year to close 2023 in strong fashion.

In weekday prime (M-F 6a-6p), the station earned an 8.6 share to finish second with Men 25-54. That figure is up from a 7.5 share in the summer book, good for third overall.

Kevin Bowen and Andy Sweeney led mornings with a 12.3 share during the fall to finish tied for first. Their share was higher that the timeslots performance last fall. Mornings on The Fan was also up with Men 25-54 from a 10.7 share recorded during the summer book. One other positive for the show, it produced a 7.4 share, fifth place finish with Adults 25-54.

The Fan splits its midday programming with national and local shows, beginning with Mike Greenberg’s ESPN Radio program for two hours. Greeny generated a 6.0 share in the fall, which placed the program sixth, up 2.5 shares and six ranking positions better than its summer performance.

The later midday show on 107.5 The Fan Query & Company which features Jake Query tied for third with a 7.4 share. That mark was up from a 6.1 share amassed in the summer book when the timeslot featured a rotation of fill-in hosts.

John Michael Vincent (JMV) anchored afternoons and delivered another first place ranking courtesy of an 8.3 share in the fall book. It was the second-consecutive quarter JMV occupied the top slot. The data point however was down a point from a 9.3 share in the summer book.

For the full week (M-SU 6a-12a), 107.5 The Fan finished with a 7.1 share, tied for second overall. That statistic was nine tenths of a point better than the station’s summer results when The Fan recorded a 6.2 share, and fourth place tie.
