ESPN MegaCast of CFP National Championship Game Scores Over 25 Million Viewers

ESPN announced today that the CFP National Championship game between Michigan and Washington on Monday night averaged 25.05 million viewers across their various stations.

The game was the most-watched championship game since LSU-Clemson in 2020 and was an increase of 45% year-over-year as well as 11% above 2022.

The audience peaked from 9 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. at 28 million fans tuning in.

The average of the three college football playoff games was 23.6 million, the highest it has been since 2018. The Rose Bowl matchup between Michigan and Alabama drew the highest number at 27.76 million.
