Ben Shapiro recently participated in an online debate against social media star Destiny, which was hosted on Lex Fridman’s podcast. Shapiro called the interaction fascinating.
Destiny is a popular liberal streamer, who often debates politics with other right-wing fixtures. But his debate against Shapiro was the highest profile yet, with The Daily Wire co-founder sharing his thoughts a little more than a week after the discussion.
“He’s got a big following online,” Shapiro said. “Frankly, I hadn’t heard much about him or viewed his videos much until I agreed to debate him on Lex Fridman’s show. It’s really worth a listen. I think it’s a couple of hours long.
“The reason it’s sort of fascinating is because we covered a lot of ground.”
During the more than two-hour debate, Shapiro and Destiny mainly debated the usual right versus left talking points, focusing specifically on whether or not former President Donald Trump is fit for office and whether or not he should be disqualified for his role in the January 6th Insurrection.
As of publication, the debate between Ben Shapiro and Destiny had garnered more than 3.5 million views on YouTube.
