Wake Up Springfield producer and co-host Cass Bowen Anderson has announced she is in her final week with KWTO in Springfield, Missouri.
She has been with the Zimmer Midwest Communications station since 2020. She announced she is departing the news/talk outlet to start a new role with the Vitae Foundation, a Pro-Life organization based in Jefferson City, Missouri.

In her farewell message on X, Bowen Anderson said she “will miss it with my whole heart,” but “having a baby will change your life.”
In addition to her work on the station’s morning show, Bowen Anderson had previously hosted a weekend program on KWTO, but that ended after she gave birth to her first child and subsequently went on maternity leave.
