A new two-part docuseries is coming to FOX Nation. Surviving Hamas: A Benjamin Hall Special, is set to debut on Tuesday April 9th.
Episodes run one hour in length. Fox Nation’s focus of the series includes examining the events that unfolded in the Israeli community after the October 7, 2023 attack, with Benjamin Hall visiting the hardest hit communities throughout the series.
Fox Nation president Lauren Petterson said of the series, “As we approach the sixth month anniversary of the October 7th attack on Israel, Ben’s unique perspective provides a powerful series that explores grief, resilience and survival through the lens of those most closely impacted.”
The first episode, Maya’s Story, profiles Maya Regev. Shot in the leg and captured on October 7, 2023 at the Supernova Music Festival, Regev was lucky to survive. Four hundred people were less fortunate. Regev relives the horrors she faced with Hall, and explains how it’s changed her.
NIR Oz is the second episode of the series. Interviews with survivors and their families detailing the horrific scene of events that transpired on October 7, 2023 are a key area of focus. NIR Oz examines how Palestinian militants, led by Hamas, entered the Nir Oz kibbutz in southern Israel killing civilians, taking hostages, and setting homes on fire.

Reporting from a war zone was necessary for Hall to complete NIR Oz. This marked his second trip to a war zone. His first trip was to Ukraine in November 2023 to interview President Zelenskyy. That trip saw the Fox reporter awarded the Order of Merit, III class.
