A solar eclipse traveled across large portions of the United States Monday morning and afternoon, with more than 13 states in the path of totality.
Many news radio hosts and stations took the opportunity to observe the phenomenon, while others shared photos, videos, and sometimes memes, about the event.
Lived up to the hype.

Yet we have 300 million people stopping work, school and daily activities to stare up at the sun in Chinese-made paper sunglasses like a bunch of lemmings.
We are so f*cked.

Looks like a lot of Americans went to Canada to try and get a glimpse of the eclipse. This is the Peace Bridge heading back into the USA and it was also busy at the Rainbow Bridge. @WBEN Traffic Command pic.twitter.com/mbs4ntJrXK
