FanDuel TV to Broadcast Special Coverage Leading Up to 150th Kentucky Derby

Ahead of the Kentucky Derby and an attempt for the first Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing winner since Justify in 2018, FanDuel TV has revealed its coverage plans for the marquee event. The 150th “Run for the Roses,” set to take place on Saturday, May 4 from Churchill Downs, will broadcast live on-site throughout the week to provide exclusive access, reporting and analysis regarding the race.

Flutter Entertainment rebranded TVG channel to FanDuel TV in September 2022, launching with Up & Adams hosted by Kay Adams. As the network approaches its two-year milestone, Adams will return to Louisville, Ky. to host her show on Thursday, May 2 and Friday, May 3. Consumers can watch the weekday program live on FanDuel TV and YouTube, along with a replay stream of the show on Max. Up & Adams, along with The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz, was added to the Max B/R Sports Add-On and includes new episodes available to watch at 2 p.m. EST/11 a.m. PST. Adams broadcast special editions of her program live from Churchill Downs last year, which included special guests such as Mike Tirico, Bobby Flay and Randall Cobb.

In addition to the on-site edition of Up & Adams, the network will also utilize experts and handicappers to contribute to its programming. Some of these personalities include Todd Schrupp, Christina Blacker, Scott Hazelton and Matt Bernier. Additionally, NBC Sports race caller Larry Collmus, who has been calling the Kentucky Derby since 2011, will be part of FanDuel TV’s coverage of the first leg of the Triple Crown.

There is no bigger event in horse racing than the Kentucky Derby and FanDuel TV will be there for every step of the action.”

FanDuel TV will assist bettors by monitoring Kentucky Derby and Kentucky Oaks contenders during their final workouts. Furthermore, this coverage will also include access and interviews with trainers, jockeys and key newsmakers.

“The Kentucky Derby is a special sports tradition and FanDuel is proud to partner with Churchill Downs for the 150th edition of the race,” Andrew Moore, general manager of racing at FanDuel, said in a statement. “FanDuel continues to lead the industry as the only online sportsbook to offer a single account and wallet for sports and horse racing wagering. Coupling this exceptional race and our leading technology is a unique opportunity to introduce new fans to the sport of horse racing. We will be utilizing our platform to bring FanDuel customers a set of special offers and a one-of-a-kind experience for the Derby.”
