FanDuel TV has announced the launch of a new free ad-supported television (FAST) channel titled “FanDuel TV Extra.” The platform is now available on several streaming outlets, including Pluto TV, Xumo Play, The Roku Channel and Plex. Moreover, consumers can find the outlet utilizing the FanDuel TV+ OTT platform as well.
Programming on the FanDuel TV Extra FAST channel will contain a variety of live sports coverage, including horse racing, international baseball, international soccer and PokerStars events. The outlet states that it will air more live sports than any other FAST channel available that will make it “the premier destination for watch-and-wager programming.” FanDuel TV Extra will also contain episodes of original programming including Up & Adams and Run it Back, featuring personalities such as Kay Adams, Michelle Beadle, Shams Charania, Chandler Parsons and Lou Williams among others.
“Launching ‘FanDuel TV Extra’ was another important step in expanding distribution for FanDuel TV content and reaching new audiences,” Kevin Grigsby, executive producer and senior vice president of FanDuel TV, said in a statement. “Our research showed a large portion of our target audience already consume content on FAST. Airing over 12 hours of live sports a day that can be wagered on significantly differentiates our channel in the market and allows us to reach a new cohort of passionate sports fans and bettors. We plan on continuing to invest in the reach of ‘FanDuel TV Extra’ by adding it to other top FAST providers in the near future.”
Before FanDuel TV was established in September 2022, the channel was previously known as TVG and aired horse races from around the country. Since that time, it has established several original properties distributed digitally through a variety of outlets and has broadcast from major sporting events – such as the Kentucky Derby and Super Bowl Week.
FanDuel TV previously added Up & Adams to the Bleacher Report-branded sports tier on Warner Bros. Discovery’s Max streaming platform, which will soon be available in a bundle with Disney+ and Hulu. FanDuel’s parent company, Flutter Entertainment, has been listed on the New York Stock Exchange since late January.
