Former Fox News correspondent Rick Leventhal has joined Newsmax for a new nightly program on the conservative outlet’s streaming platform.
The Leventhal Report will air weeknights at 7 PM ET on Newsmax2, the streaming service launched by the network.
“I am looking forward to bringing my global experience in covering the news that matters most to Newsmax2’s line-up of hard-hitting journalism,” Leventhal said.
Leventhal spent 24 years at Fox News where he ultimately rose to the role of senior correspondent. Before joining the cable news giant, he worked in local TV at stations in New York, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Miami, among others.
“Newsmax is proud to have a first-class, world-class journalist like Rick Leventhal join our Newsmax2 team,” the company’s CEO, Christopher Ruddy, added.
The first edition of the new program debuted Monday.
