iHeartMedia’s Classic Rock KZOK holds the top position 8.0-7.7. It is the station’s first down month of 2024. Audacy’s Rocker KISW posts a 5.2-5.9 gain.
Three Country stations battle for audience, with Audacy’s KKWF (100.7 The Wolf) dropping 6.2-5.3. The two stations that joined the Country format within hours of each other, Hubbard’s KPNW (98.9 The Bull) is up 1.1-1.5 and Lotus’s KPLZ (101.5 Hank-FM) rising 2.1-2.5.
iHeart’s Top 40 KBKS (Hits 106.1) is off slightly at 4.2-4.1, and Hubbard’s KQMV (Movin 92.5) is off 4.0-3.7.
Hubbard AC (Warm 106.9) drops 3.9-3.4.
Miami/Ft. Lauderdale
Cox Media Group’s Urban WHQT remains in first place despite a 9.2-8.3 drop. Audacy’s AC WLYF (101.5 Lite FM) posts a nice 6.2-6.9 gain.
Cox Hip Hop WEDR (99Jamz) is up 3.1-3.7, while iHeart’s WMIB (103.5 The Beat) is down 3.6-3.1.
iHeart Top 40 WHYI (Y100) rises 2.7-3.0
Audacy’s Rhythmic Throwbacks WPOW (Power 96), which debuted Memorial Day weekend, has a nice gain 1.9-2.8.
Phoenix
iHeart’s AC KESZ (99.9 KEZ) continues to lead the way even after dropping 9.5-8.9.
Both of the market’s Country stations are up with Audacy’s KMLE up 3.2-3.8 and iHeart’s KNIX rising 3.1-3.4
Hubbard’s Classic Rock KSLX bounces back from a down month, coming back 5.9-7.4. iHeart’s Variety Hits KYOT (95.5 The Mountain) makes a nice gain of 5.7-6.6, while Hubbard Rock KUPD slides 4.6-4.3.
Both the market’s Top 40s trended down with Audacy’s KALV-FM (Live 101.5) going 2.7-2.3 and iHeart’s KZZP (104.7 KISS-FM) 2.5-2.0.
Detroit
AC leads the way in Detroit, with iHeart’s WNIC hanging on to the top spot even while slipping 8.3-8.1. Audacy’s Country WYCD trended upward 6.8-7.2.
Beasley Classic Rock WCSX is up 6.9-7.1, while iHeart’s Classic Rock WLLZ continues an upward trend of 2.4-3.1.
iHeart’s Top 40 WKQI (Channel 95.5) slides 7.2-6.3. Sister Adult R&B WMXD (Mix 92.3) is up 5.5-6.0, with Hip Hop WJLB up 3.3-3.5.
Minneapolis/St. Paul
Northwestern Media’s Christian AC KTIS-FM continues to set a strong pace 11.0-11.4. Hubbard’s AC KSTP (KS95) makes a substantial leap 6.8-8.0.
iHeart’s Top 40 KDWB logs its best showing since March 2019, 5.9-6.7.
Audacy Variety Hits KZJK (104.1 Jack-FM) is up 5.9-6.4. Cumulus Rocker KXXR (93X) drops 4.2-3.5.
iHeart’s Classic Hits KQQL (Kool 108) drops 7.3-6.5.
Tampa/St. Petersburg
It’s another AC format win with Cox Soft AC WDUV up a huge 10.8-12.1. Both the market’s Country stations had big months, with iHeart’s WFUS (US 103.5) moving 5.3-6.6, up from seventh to second overall. Beasley’s Country WQYK is up 5.5-6.2.
In the Top 40 battle, iHeart’s WFLZ is up 2.6-3.2, and Beasley Rhythmic Top 40 WLLD (Wild 94.9) moves 2.6-3.0.
Classic Rock is down with Cox’s WXBL (107.3 The Eagle) slipped 2.2-1.6, and Beasley’s Classic Hits WRBQ (Q105) falling 4.6-3.8.
iHeart’s AC WMTX (Mix 100.7) falls 6.3-5.7.
Denver/Boulder
Bonneville AC KOSI is up 6.4-7.3. Classic Rock and Classic Hits show strong, with iHeart’s KRFX (103.5 The Fox) up 6.1-7.0 and KSE Media’s KXKL (KOOL 105) holding steady at 6.3.
In the Country battle, Bonneville’s KYGO is off slightly, 5.8-5.7, while Audacy’s Classic Country KQKS-HS2 (103.1 Front Range Country) is up 1.5-1.7.
iHeart’s AAA KBCO is up 5.4-5.6, and Alternative sister KTCL (Channel 99.3) is off 5.9-5.0.
iHeart’s Top 40 KDTH (Hits 95.7) is up 2.8-3.4. Audacy Hip Hop KQKS (KS 107.5) falls 2.8-2.2.
