Spotify has debuted a new AI-driven Spanish-speaking feature for its DJ mode. Named Livi, according to her backstory, she is a “Senior Music Editor” at Spotify based out of Mexico City.
A DJ generates a list of curated songs based on the user’s preferences. The AI voice introduces songs like a regular DJ. The service uses Open AI and was introduced last year. Since then, it has expanded to 50 countries in the English language.
Spotify Competitor YouTube recently introduced select users with its own radio DJ generator.
