Compass Media Networks has announced three new hires who will join their team. Two have been hired within the sales department and one is a new hire as a news anchor.
Joe Mackay joins the company as its new Director of Audio Sales. Mackay will manage advertising sales relationships on the West Coast and Midwest. A 25-year industry vet, Mackay has worked previously for CBS, Spanish Broadcasting, Cumulus Broadcasting and Emmis Communications amongst others.
Laura Schaefer has been brought in as the new Manager of Sales Planning. Schaefer will help manage customer relationships and assist sales executives and management with sales proposals and inventory management. Prior to joining Compass Media Networks, Laura worked at iHeart and Westwood One in her almost decade in the industry.
On the content side, Chad Robison is joining the company as a news anchor for Your Money Now. Robison will anchor Your Money Now’s twice hourly money-news reports, Monday – Friday in mid-days and PM drive. Previously, he was the evening news anchor for iHeart’s NJ101.5 and he has also had roles with Total Traffic and United States Traffic during his career.
