Bloomberg Radio Moving to 92.9 FM in Boston After New Deal with Beasley Media Group

Beasley Media Group has announced a deal with Bloomberg Radio that will see the radio network move its programming to the 92.9 FM signal currently utilized by Rock 92.9.

“This expansion of our partnership with Beasley Media Group will allow us to exponentially expand Bloomberg Radio’s reach in Boston,” said Bloomberg Audio Head Anthony Mancini. “Moving to a full market FM frequency will give us the bandwidth we need to have an increased presence in the region, and the capacity to bring even more listeners Bloomberg’s in-depth coverage of the financial markets and beyond.”

The Beasley Media Group-owned WBOS (92.9 FM) is a Class B, 18,500-watt signal. Currently, Bloomberg Radio is heard on WRCA-AM, a Class B signal with 25,000 watts of daytime power and 17,000 watts at night. Its FM translator is heard on 106.1 FM with 96 watts.
