Good Karma Brands has announced a new programming lineup for ESPN West Palm. The station recently celebrated two decades of covering sports in Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast and has achieved several milestones over the last six months. On top of that, the media outlet recently moved to a new office space that includes street-facing, ground-floor studios that allows fans to see the action in real time.
“We are beyond thrilled with what our team has achieved over the last six months,” Stephanie Prince-Springmyer, vice president and market manager of ESPN West Palm, said in a statement. “Our growth is a direct result of the passion and dedication our team brings to the table every day. We are committed to delivering top-tier sports coverage to our fans, whether it’s on-air, online, or in the community. We are grateful for the support of our fans and partners and look forward to continuing our impact, both in West Palm Beach and beyond.”
The new programming configuration begins with ESPN Radio Network programming from 6 a.m. until 2 p.m. EST. This includes the four-hour morning show of UnSportsmanLike with Evan Cohen, Chris Canty and Michelle Smallmon, which airs on weekdays until 10 a.m. EST. Mike Greenberg hosts #Greeny in the ensuing two-hour stretch and is followed by Chris Carlin and Joe Fortenbaugh on Carlin vs. Joe.
Local programming starts at 2 p.m. EST with Theo Dorsey hosting Theoretically Speaking in a new timeslot and for an additional hour. Once that show concludes, Colin Russo and Michael Rizzo host Russo & Rizzo from 4 to 6 p.m. EST, a new afternoon offering that includes the sons of legendary radio personalities Christopher “Mad Dog” Russo and Tony Rizzo.
Within the last six months, ESPN West Palm expanded its digital footprint by launching two YouTube-exclusive programs. Airing on Friday nights, High School Gameday spotlights local action from high school football games in the locale. Josh Cohen is also part of the station’s digital efforts with his show, Questionable Call. ESPN West Palm hired five new full-time teammates, which brings its total staff to 32 professionals and more hiring initiatives taking place in the future. Additionally, Deportes 760 became the flagship station of Inter Miami CF, granting fans exclusive coverage of the home football club featuring superstar Lionel Messi. The station has also taken part in community initiatives, including hosting a 7-on-7 football tournament at Keiser University and involvement in the Boca Raton Bowl.
“We have the right team in place to support our fans, our community, our industry, and our team,” Prince-Springmyer added in a statement. “Our recent achievements and actions reflect ESPN West Palm’s strong industry reputation and demonstrates the respect we have earned across the sports media landscape. We’re both honored and humbled.”
