‘The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz’ Celebrates 20 Years, Added to Peacock, SiriusXM

"The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz" is celebrating its 20th year on the air and revealed it is joining the Peacock lineup immediately following the "Dan Patrick Show."

Dan Le Batard took the air on Tuesday morning celebrating the 20-year anniversary of his radio program, which made its debut on 790 The Ticket alongside co-host Jon “Stugotz” Weiner. Le Batard and Weiner broadcast live from the Meadowlark Media studios in Miami, Fla. and reminisced on the past two decades. After the second hour of the program, the Meadowlark Media show was joined live by Dan Patrick on his program, who revealed that The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz would be joining the Peacock lineup immediately following Patrick’s radio program.

Beginning on Tuesday, The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz will stream weekdays on Peacock from 12 to 3 p.m. EST on the NBC Sports channel and also be live on demand. Moreover, the announcement also includes a radio component that will place the program on the NBC Sports Audio channel No. 85 on SiriusXM. Once the news was revealed, a celebration ensued inside of the studio as the show celebrated the momentous achievement.

“We are so eager and excited about the endless possibilities with a creative partner as discerning as Peacock, who proved throughout the Olympics that they’re interested in changing the entire game in sports coverage,” Le Batard said in a statement. “More personally, I’m especially honored to finally team up with Dan Patrick, a legendary pioneer who always left lights along the path he blazed so that people like us would always have permission to paint outside the lines. He is an inspiration, from his grace to his gifts, and it is genuine treasure to be able to follow him, in the lineup and in life.”

“We’re excited to add The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz to the daily sports lineup on Peacock and the NBC Sports FAST Channel, continuing to provide viewers with engaging programming throughout the week,” Damon Phillips, senior vice president, NBC Sports Digital and Emerging Business, said in a statement.

The new functionality in airing The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz on Peacock, the NBC Sports FAST channel and SiriusXM adds options for fans to consume the show. This new deal does not preclude the program from airing on DraftKings Network, nor will it cease its distribution as part of the B/R Sports Add-On tier on Warner Bros. Discovery-owned Max.

“You led the way with producers talking on the air and going to a confessional box to talk in breaks,” Le Batard said to Patrick on Tuesday’s edition of the show. “You pioneered leaving ESPN doing a show in your attic and showed me how hard and doable these things are, so I really am thrilled that our thing gets to exist behind yours in support of yours at your back sir.”

After Le Batard originally launched his show locally on 790 The Ticket, the show made its national debut on ESPN Radio in September 2013. The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz remained on the platform and added television components in 2015 with ESPNU and Fusion TV. Following parts of eight years with ESPN, the program moved to Meadowlark Media, a startup media venture created by Le Batard in partnership with former ESPN president John Skipper. For the last three-and-a-half years, the show has aired live on YouTube and on the DraftKings Network featuring a cast of producers and contributors live from the adjacent Shipping Container.

“I just can’t believe that in my career through print and broadcast that the media would shake, that newspapers would crumble, that radio would fall apart and we would last two decades and keep growing and be able to celebrate it with most loyal fans, if not in the history of sports media, Jim Rome-like close to whatever it is the most loyal fans in the history of sports media,” Le Batard said. “And I’m not only thankful for it, obviously, I try to show you do that every day, but I legitimately can’t believe that coming from Miami just writing about sports that this would exist 20 years later to feed the people that I care about.”
