Jim Monaghan Is Leaving ‘The Morning Jolt’ At WDHA Morriston NJ

“The Morning Jolt” will drop the puck for the final with the New York Ranger’s Stephane Matteau and members of The Smithereens joining the final show.

Jim Monaghan, host of “The Morning Jolt” at Beasley Rocker WDHA/Morriston NJ, will step aside after 18 years of hosting mornings. His final show will be tomorrow (9/20).

Monaghan’s radio career spanned nearly two decades. He joined WDHA in 1998 and began hosting the morning show in 2006. Before that, Monaghan spent 19 years at WNEW (Rock 102.7)/New York, where he served in various on-air and behind-the-scenes roles, including afternoon and morning drive producer, Music Director, and Sports Director.
