SEC on ABC Delivers Two Most-Watched College Football Games of the Week

The Arkansas Razorbacks upset win over the No. 4 Tennessee Volunteers was the top game of the week across all networks on Saturday.

It was another big weekend for ESPN and ABC as they won all four college football Saturday windows in week six while also have two of most-watched games of the week and three of the top five. The SEC on ABC tripleheader of games drew a combined 13.5 million viewers.

The Arkansas Razorbacks upset win over the No. 4 Tennessee Volunteers was the top game of the week across all networks on Saturday. The game averaged 5.3 million viewers and peaked at 6.8 million. The game was a defensive battle which Arkansas led 3-0 at the half.

No. 5 Georgia beat Auburn 31-13 in the afternoon and was viewed by an average of 4.9 million people. That made it the second most watched game of the week across all networks. The game peaked at 5.4 million viewers.

The only matchup of the day featuring two teams who were ranked in the Top 25 was the top broadcast in the 12 p.m. ET window which featured Missouri and Texas A&M. The Aggies ran away with the game and won 41-10. The game drew an average audience of 3.3 million viewers and peaked at 3.6 million.

On ESPN the late-night window saw No. 8 Miami come back from being down 35-18 at the end of three quarters to win 39-38 over Cal. That game drew 1.9 million average viewers, peaked at 2.4 million and won the time slot.
