ESPN New Orleans 100.3 is no more as the station’s parent company has entered into a new time brokerage agreement to change the format.

Coastal Broadcasting of Larose has agreed to a deal with Core Radio Group to lease the station, which is currently featuring a format of strictly Lil Wayne songs.

The move to end the station comes after the NBA’s New Orleans Pelicans moved their broadcasts away from the station in favor of Audacy news/talk station WWL, which was announced in June. The station subsequently ended local programming in August after canceling the show previously hosted by Gus Kattengell.

ESPN New Orleans 100.3 also featured programming from 104.5 ESPN in Baton Rouge, including morning show Off The Bench with Jacob Hester and T-Bob Hebert, and After Further Review with Matt Moscona in afternoon drive.
