Dwayne “Doc” Alexander, longtime morning host at 99.7 KBCY in Abilene, TX, has passed away at the age of 61.
Alexander and Kelly Jay have been the morning hosts at Cumulus Media’s Country 99.7 KBCY since 1999. Prior to this, the duo worked together intermittently from 1987 to 1999 at 105.1 KEAN, where they were known as the “Men In Boots.”
In addition to on-air roles, Alexander has also taken on various programming responsibilities at both stations, including serving as Operations Manager of Sunburst Broadcasting and Assistant Program Director/Music Director at KBCY.
