Joe Rogan is set to host Donald Trump for a podcast interview on Friday, and nationally syndicated radio host Mike Gallagher can’t wait to hear the conversation.
Rogan will sit down with Trump at his Austin, Texas studio on Friday. The Joe Rogan Experience features more than 14 million followers on Spotify, and features a demographic of mostly younger male listeners.
On The Mike Gallagher Show on Thursday, the Salem Radio Network host shared his excitement ahead of the conversation, noting that it has a chance to “break the internet.”
“Wait until you see when Trump sits down with Joe Rogan,” Gallagher said. “Oh my gosh. The guy’s the most popular podcaster on the planet. That’s gonna be one heck of a conversation.”
The sit-down between Rogan and Donald Trump will feature two parties who have been critical of each other in recent years.
In 2022, Joe Rogan said he had previously turned down the opportunity to have Trump on the podcast several times.
“I’m not a Trump supporter in any way, shape or form. I’ve had the opportunity to have him on my show more than once, I’ve said no every time,” said Joe Rogan. “I don’t want to help him, I’m not interested in helping him.”
Meanwhile, Trump earlier this year stated that Rogan would be widely booed at the next UFC event due to speaking highly of third-party candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. instead of praising the Republican nominee.
Similar reports of Rogan sitting down with Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic nominee, have surfaced. However, that interview has yet to be confirmed by either party.
