The Milwaukee Radio Alliance is stunting with what likely will lead to a format flip.
100.3 and 107.7, formerly “Fonz FM,” are playing all Halloween Music and branding themselves as “The Haunt.”
A listen Monday morning produced “Chocolate” by The 1975, AC/DC’s “Highway to Hell,” “Heathens” by Twenty One Pilots and Ray Parker Jr.’s “Ghostbusters.”
The “Fonz” brand remains on WZTI and WLDB-HD2, featuring music that captures the essence of the 1950s through the 1970s.
The station is named for Happy Days character Arthur Fonzarelli. Happy Days was set in Milwaukee.
The Milwaukee Radio Alliance also owns Milwaukee stations Adult Contemporary B93.3 and Alternative FM 102.1.
