Significant staff cuts are underway at iHeartMedia, with a reduction in force aimed at a regionalized management structure.

The new operating structure will involve regional market managers and the national programming team handling most day-to-day operations.

In Cleveland, Bill Squire exits the “Alan Cox Show” on mornings at Rock 100.7 WMMS. The stand-up comedian has been with the show since 2013.

In Washington D.C., Paul Jaxon is out Class Rock “Big 100” WBIG and midday host at “Alt 104.5.” Jaxon had been with the station since 2023. Also, at “Big 100,” Lisa Berigan is out as midday host.

In Raleigh, Nick Jordan is out as APD/PM Driver at Country B93.9 WNCB. Reach him here.

Raleigh Market President Michael Burger is out. He joined the cluster in August 2021.

In Philadelphia, Mike Kaplan departs as Program Director for “Alt 104.5 WRFF ” and Top 40 Q102.

In Salt Lake City, Eric “E. White” is out as the morning host at Top 40 97.1 KZHT. Reach him here.

In Fairbanks, Alaska, Kathryn Harris has been let go. Harris told Barrett Media, “I was fired today from the iHeartMedia group of stations in Fairbanks, AK. I started working there in 1996. It wasn’t iHeart then, obviously, but nearly 30 years, and my radio career is done. Reach her here.

In Des Moines, Senior VP/Programming for Des Moines, St. Louis, Indianapolis, and North Dakota Greg Chance is out.

In Houston, Karah Leigh has officially departed Rock/Alternative “94.5 The Buzz” KTBZ-FM after nineteen years as a nighttime host. In addition to her work at 94.5 The Buzz, Leigh also voice-tracked middays at Rocker 102.7 WEBN in Cincinnati and weekends at WEND in Charlotte, KIOZ in San Diego, and WXTB in Tampa, as well as iHeart’s national Rock and Alternative feeds. In Orlando, Glory Langston has left as senior promotion manager. She had been with the cluster for 19 years.

In Chicago, Angi Taylor is out as the morning host at Rock 95.5 WCHI.

In Honolulu, Becky Mits departs mornings at Rhythmic Top 40 93.9, The Beat KUBT, and 12-6 at K-Pop Pop 101.9.

In Boston, Alan Chartrand is out as Boston Region President.

Jeniffer Mariel Ruiz exits from her role as Promotions Director

In Dallas, Patrick Davis departs as SVP Programming and PD for Top 40 106.1 KISS-FM KHKS.

In San Francisco, Don Parker exits. Parker was Regional SVP Programming for Northern California, PD of Hip Hop 106.1 KMEL, and GM for LGBTQ+ Pride Radio.

 Jerry Houston is out as PD/PM Drive for LGBTQ+ Pride Radio.
