93.1 The Fan in Lima, Ohio has named Tyler Avila as its new Program Director and afternoon drive co-host.
Avila joined in April 2023 as the producer for the station’s afternoon drive program. He has been programming the station on an interim basis since August of this year.
He will join Danny Holbrook, who has hosted afternoon drive on the Woof Boom Radio station since 2022, for a new program called The Afternoon Huddle.
“Some of you might know that it has been a super crazy last couple of months for me at work, but all of that has paid off and I am super excited to announce that I am the new Program Director for 93.1 The Fan,” Avila said in a social media post announcing the move. “Starting next Monday, November 18th, I will be hosting The Afternoon Huddle alongside my main man Danny Holbrook from 4-6 during the week.”
Tyler Avila previously worked at 93.1 The Fan on a part-time basis from 2017-2019 before returning to the station after spending time at nearby 98.3 WPKO in Bellefontaine, Ohio.
