John Peake iHeartMedia Los Angeles EVP Programming has added KOST programming duties. He fills the role left open when Jill Kempton moved to New York to program WLTW and WKTU. (BMM 1/14)
Peake will continue to handle programming duties for 104.3 MYFM KBIG as well as EVP Programming and Hot AC Brand Manager.
Peake stated in a release. “I am thrilled to be taking over as Program Director of KOST. “This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the talented team, including “Ellen K in the Morning.” I look forward to leveraging the KOST brand to drive exceptional engagement for our listeners, clients, and other stakeholders.”

Jeff Lynn serves as Editor of Barrett Media’s Music Radio coverage. Prior to joining Barrett Media, Jeff spent time programming in Milwaukee, Omaha, Cleveland, Des Moines, and Madison for multiple radio groups, including iHeartMedia, Townsquare Media, NRG Media, and Entercom (now Audacy). He also worked as a Country Format Editor for All Access until the outlet shut down in August 2023.
