The Minnesota Star Tribune reports that market veteran and long-time KDWB morning host Dave Ryan was suspended from his Monday show following what the station calls “inappropriate content.”
The bit, which was executed on the air last Friday, was called “Super Blow.” It featured Ryan’s co-hosts snorting food ingredients when answering incorrectly during a trivia segment. The ingredients included flour, sugar, coffee creamer, and pumpkin spice, shaped in lines.
During Monday’s Show, a recorded message from iHeartRadio‘s Top 40 Programming Executive Rich Davis apologized to listeners and confirmed the suspension. The content was also edited out of the show’s YouTube recording.
Ryan returned to his show on Tuesday morning.
