Doug Jossem Named by MSG Sports, MSG Entertainment as Executive Vice President of Global Sports and Entertainment Partnerships

Doug Jossem has been named executive vice president of global sports and entertainment partnerships by Madison Square Garden Sports and Madison Square Garden Entertainment, as announced by the companies on Tuesday. Under his new position, he will be responsible for developing and leading global partnerships across these companies while also supporting the sales efforts for MSG Networks. Jossem will seek to align global partnerships strategies with the business objectives of the companies in order to foster growth and drive a “multi-channel approach” with new and existing partners. Jossem is going to be based in New York for the position, and he will report to MSG Sports chief operating officer Jamaal Lesane.

Jossem joins the MSG family of companies after a stint at Walmart where he worked as the head of food for its Walmart Connect division. Before that time, he was with Twitter as the head of international content partnerships and was responsible for driving growth through creating new products and conducting research studies.

Jossem also previously worked with Vice Media as its chief revenue officer where he was responsible for leading revenue and strategy efforts across digital, television and studio efforts in the North American marketplace. Prior to this role, he worked in sales positions with organizations including Comedy Central, CNN and Yahoo. Bossem is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island with a communications degree where he also serves on its board of advisors.
