Seattle Sports and the Seattle Mariners have announced the launch of a new weekly program featuring Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh. According to a release, The Cal Raleigh Show will debut today and air every Thursday at 5 p.m. locally throughout the entire 2025 regular season on the franchise’s flagship radio station.

Raleigh, now in his fifth season with the Mariners organization, continues as the team’s starting catcher after being drafted in the third round of the 2018 MLB Draft.

“We’re thrilled to provide our fans with more access to Mariners players and the stories behind the scenes,” said Seattle Sports program director Kyle Brown. “Cal’s insights into his leadership, his role on the team, and the Mariners’ season will offer fans an even closer connection to the team in 2025.”

Each episode will be hosted by Mariners insider Shannon Drayer, taking fans behind the scenes of the past week while also looking ahead to the upcoming weekend of Mariners baseball. Additionally, the show aims to provide an intimate look at Raleigh’s personal and professional journey, offering deeper insight into his contributions on the field and his thoughts on key moments throughout the season.

The show will air weekly on Thursdays at 5 p.m. during the Wyman and Bob timeslot. However, if the team is traveling across time zones, the show will shift to an earlier slot. Fans can catch the live broadcast on Seattle Sports radio, the Seattle Sports App, and the station’s YouTube page.

Raleigh has established himself as one of the league’s top catchers, leading all major league catchers in home runs for the third consecutive season. His outstanding defensive performance also earned him both the AL Gold Glove and Platinum Glove Awards last season. Furthermore, he was honored with the 2024 Sports Star of the Year award by the Seattle Sports Commission.

Seattle Sports, owned and operated by Bonneville International, serves as the ESPN Radio network affiliate for the Seattle market.
