620 WTMJ Host Brian Noonan Departs

"I'm still in shock and not clear on all the reasons, but grateful to have worked at this heritage radio station in various capacities for over a decade."

Date:

620 WTMJ midday host Brian Noonan is no longer with the Good Karma Brands Milwaukee news/talk station.

Noonan had most recently been paired with Kristin Bray for Spanning the State, which aired from 1-3 PM. Noonan had been with the station since 2015 in a variety of roles. He previously hosted WTMJ Nights from 7 to 9 PM when the program was not preempted by the station’s coverage of Major League Baseball’s Milwaukee Brewers.

“It’s a common, but painful truth about the radio industry,” Noonan shared on social media after his exit. “I’m still in shock and not clear on all the reasons, but grateful to have worked at this heritage radio station in various capacities for over a decade.”

Before joining 620 WTMJ, Brian Noonan served as a host at WGN Radio in Chicago for nearly 15 years.

After Noonan’s exit, Bray hosted the program alongside colleague Steve Scaffidi throughout the week. Bray also joined Scaffidi on his Political Power Hour program throughout the week as Wisconsin held an election for its state Supreme Court that garnered nationwide attention.

Those close to the situation in Milwaukee tell Barrett Media that a new lineup will be announced for the heritage radio brand early next week.
