Longtime Froggy 101.7 and 104.9 Frankfort, KY PD and PM Driver Brett “Jumpin’ Jim Beam Waford, aka Radio Farmer, announced that his final show was this past Friday.
As first reported by Country Insider, Waford has spent 17 of his 20 years in radio with the station. In his video announcement, while thanking listeners, he did not completely rule out the possibility of doing something in the future. Adding that “It may be “the end” the end, or it could be the end for now. I’m not really sure.”
He will continue to voice track for the company’s 103.1 The Bear in Parkersburg, W VA.
Market Manager Rusty James, who joined that cluster in February, has not yet named a replacement.
