After nearly four decades, David Felker has exited Westwood One. As first reported by Inside Radio, his departure comes in the wake of the network’s recent downsizing and consolidation.
Felker’s career began in Riverside/San Bernardino, then to Los Angeles before serving in a variety of positions at Westwood One, including Music Director, Program Director, Operations Manager, and Vice President of Programming/Director of Gold Formats.
Felker said, “I couldn’t have asked for a better run in the business—working with so many talented, creative, and professional employees, coworkers, and friends.”
Over the years, Felker’s time with the networks included Transtar, UniStar, Dial Global, and Westwood One ownership.
